Phenotype E (rams).
Phenotype E is a short scur, with no depression in the skull.
BACK
Notice how this ram lamb's head is quite domed and bulbous in appearance, as opposed to having a deep depression between the upper eyelid and the crest of the head. He is a half poll.
I call this scur type a "hook scur". It is faster growing than a snail scur.
They can grow into larger scurs as the lamb matures, however, often one of both scurs may continue to break off with some bleeding.
