| Notice how this ram lamb's head is quite domed and bulbous in appearance, as opposed to having a deep depression between the upper eyelid and the crest of the head. He is a half poll. I call this scur type a "hook scur". It is faster growing than a snail scur. They can grow into larger scurs as the lamb matures, however, often one of both scurs may continue to break off with some bleeding. |
