The shetland is a delightful little wool sheep that is a pleasure to have around, and very simple to raise. They are perfect for smaller properties and the novice shepherd.
The shetland breed offers a variety of lovely fleece for handspinning, felting, and weaving. Their meat is tender and mild. They make cuddley, low-maintenance friends for someone who just wants a few pet sheep.
Our humanely raised flock is enrolled in the mandatory scrapie program, flock #IL2679F.
